ARISTIDE NV, HARC – Aritex Holland BV and Aritex Deutschland (hereafter referred to as Aristide ) respect your privacy. This privacy statement gives a short and transparent overview of how your personal data is being collected and used by Aristide, depending on your relationship with Aristide.

This privacy statement had been amended to comply the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) , effective as of 25th of May 2018. This new legal framework
provides EU citizens more control over their own data and privacy and facilitates a better protection of data throughout Europe.

Which personal data do we process?

ARISTIDE processes following personal data, depending on your relationship

    • Identification and contact data (name, e-mail, telephone number, address …)
  2. Supplier
    • Identification and contact data (name, e-mail, telephone number, address …)
  3. Job applicants
    • Identification and contact data (name, e-mail, telephone number, address …;
    • Professional data (CV, screenings, motivation letter).

Aristide processes data for several reasons, based on the relationship:

    • Process our orders and payments
  3. Job applicant
    We collect and process personal data in order to be able to
    • Conduct an effective and efficient selection procedure
    • Communicate with you

How did we receive your data?

We obtain the data which you provide us with. This can be either direct or through your company. We might obtain your data through third parties (public or private), in
which case we will inform you in a first contact, as dictated by law. 

With whom do we share your data

We only share personal data where needed.

  1. Customers:
    • Transport companies for deliveries
    • Banks, when international payments outside the EU are involved
    • Independent sales agents/distributors for commercial relationships
    • Mailchimp for communication (restricted to e-mail, name and language). MailChimp is member of the Privacy Shield and aristide NV has a Customer EU Data Processing document (can be obtained upon simple request).
  2. Supplier:
    • Transport companies for deliveries
    • Banks, when international payments outside the EU are involved
  3. Job applicants

We do not share any data with third parties.

We will not share your personal data with other parties than the ones mentioned above. If needed we will ask your permission to do so.

In light of legal investigations, of any kind, we might be obliged by authorities to share your data.

How long do we keep your data?

Aristide will not keep your data any longer than needed.

  1. Customers and suppliers:
    Personal data is kept for 10 years after the last sales/purchase order (legal obligation of safeguarding invoices)
  2. Job applicant
    Personal data is kept for 1 year after the last job interview.

We will always ask permission when we want the keep the data longer.

How do we protect your data against loss, abuse or unwanted manipulation?

With respect to the protection of data against loss, abuse or unwanted manipulation we have implemented appropriate measures. All data is stored on our servers, which
are exclusively accessible by authorized personnel and protected by way of secure firewalls from the outside world. In case an incident should occur, in which your personal data would be involved, we will personally inform you as dictated by law.

Which are your rights?

As an individual you have the right to:

  • Consult your personal data;
  • Adjust/rectify your personal data when needed;
  • Ask for a restricted use of your data;
  • Ask for the deletion of your personal data (if there are no legal obligations which oblige us to keep records);

In case of complaints regarding the implementation of this privacy statement, please contact us first. Should your complaint remain unresolved, you can complain with the
data protection authorities.

We always ask you to unambiguously identify yourself, through the presenting of an official ID, when you wish to apply your rights of raise a complaint with respect to this
policy. We will respond within 30 days as specified in the law.
